You must seek medical help from an experienced doctor when there is burning, weakness, tingling or pain in the hands or feet that interferes with your sleep or daily activities; if there are changes in sexual function, digestion or urination; and if you feel dizzy throughout the day.
Your doctor will carry out some blood tests and a physical examination to understand the root cause of the problem. At times, imaging tests like CT Scan, MRI, etc. are also required.
